Je suis intéressée par les stratégies déployées pour doter les signes de sens, ainsi que par les ancrages culturels, sociologiques et cognitifs partagés qui le rendent possible. Ma thèse de doctorat, dirigée par Julien Longhi et soutenue en décembre 2023, propose une typologie de six usages des minuscules non standard dans la communication numérique, en particulier pour la première personne du singulier en anglais.

  • Ancrages disciplinaires : anthropologie linguistique ; analyse du discours médié par ordinateur ; variation ; linguistique générale ; cognition.
  • Approches privilégiées : approche mixte combinant méthodes quantitatives, expérimentales et introspectives pour l’analyse de corpus situés, avec triangulation intégrant linguistique formelle et théorique.
  • Thématiques de spécialité : atténuation communicative ; identité ; positionnement (stance) ; fonction réflexive ; incarnation ; sémiotique sociale ; morphologie ; graphophonologie ; enregisterment ; métapragmatique.
